CCEGA HAPMAP Simulator - Population Selection

HAP-SAMPLE currently uses three separate HapMap samples (called "populations" here) to comprise its chromosome pools. Only one population may be used at a time. CEU consists of 30 trios from Utah, USA, with Northern and Western European ancestry. JPT+CHB consists of 45 unrelated Japanese individuals from Tokyo, Japan, and 45 unrelated individuals from Beijing, China. The two Asian samples are combined for the Asian HAP-SAMPLE pool. YRI consists of 30 Yoruba trios from Ibadan, Nigeria. See www.hapmap.org for additional descriptions of these populations.
